This course has taught me so much that it is hard to pick just one thing that I liked about it. I have a lot of new information now that I can use thanks to this course.
My favorite discoveries on this journey of learning would be that I can actually blog and creat a website! I thought this would be so much harder for me than it was. I like using the YouTube websites to help me create my blog, my website and other things that I did for this course. I also think that getting lots of feedback was very helpful so that I didn't feel lost in the world of the Internet.
This has affected my lifelong learning goals because now I have more confidence to be able to use some of the tools I have learned in a classroom. I think that this will help me when communicating with my students, parents and administration because it is the age of technology and I don't want to be left behind!
I was extremely surprised with the fact that I can create things on the web. I always thought that I had a lot of experience with computers but being out of the computer world for a while, I didn't know there was so much more out there for teachers to use. I now understand how useful all of the tools that I have used in this course are and how wonderful they will be in a classroom situation.
I really liked the format and course as a whole. The way that it is set up makes it easy for anyones busy schedule. I think the due dates and the requirements were extremely fair and very helpful. I think it was easy to get a hold of the professor at anytime through email. I liked sharing ideas with others in the discussion panel and I think the course as a whole was a great experience and VERY USEFUL!
I would love to participate in another course just to keep updated with all of the offerings of the internet but I don't think I could afford another $1,000! If it was free, ha ha, I would be glad to participate!
I would just like to end this with a thank you to Professor Yang. I really enjoyed this course and I learned so much more than I ever thought was possible. I will enjoy using the tools you have provided for me in my future classroom.
